About this event
The City of Antwerp is a front runner in terms of innovative mobility. On the first day of the Smart Mobility Week, the Vice-Mayor will present the policy, strategies and main innovations he installed in the city. But the work is never done! In the afternoon session, we'll host a co-creation session in which we'll invite you to think about technology solutions to tackle two big mobility challenges our City has!

- 10.00 – 11.00 Technical briefing & update about the Smart Ways to Antwerp (Slim Naar Antwerpen) application and route planner, by Silke Lamoen (City of Antwerp) (with livestream)
- 11.00 - 12.00 Interactive panel discussion on city mobility, technology and shared mobility, with Vice-Mayor Koen Kennis, prof. Wouter Verheyen (University of Antwerp) and prof. Joris Beckers (University of Antwerp) + Q&A (with livestream)
- 12.00 – 13.00 Break
- 13.00 – 16.00 Innovation challenges Smart Mobility (City of Antwerp) and co-creation session
(1) How can we use technology to detect and report wrongly parked shared mobility vehicles (e.g. scooters)?
(2) How can we use technology to compute the "most comfortable route" from A to B, and make this objective and measurable?
