About this event
The sea port of Zeebrugge will be the first destination for our The Beacon community road trip. A bus will leave in Antwerp and drive us to the coastal city.

8.00h: Gathering at The Beacon clubhouse
8.30h: Departure with bus (incl. coffee)
10.00h: Arrival & welcome at Port of Zeebrugge
10.15h: Presentation Port of Zeebrugge + Q&A discussion:

- Physical internet
11.30h: Guided bus tour in Port of Zeebrugge
12.30h: Lunch @ ABC Tower
13.30h: Visit to POM West-Vlaanderen Physical Internet Demonstrator
- Serious Game - Plan an international maritime transport yourself
- Explanation - The roadmap to the Physical Internet: Digitization, Automation, Collaborative Shipping, 1PL-5PL / VAL VAS, Last Mile Logistics
- Best Practices - Overview of existing PI implementations and approximations
18.00h: Arrival at The Beacon clubhouse
PRACTICAL
- Bus leaves at, and comes back to Sint-Pietersvliet 7, 2000 Antwerp
- The program will be in Dutch, unless requested by the participants
