Antwerp Chem-Tech Connect brings Antwerp’s chemical industry and the PortTech ecosystem together. Expect a compact content programme, targeted matchmaking and plenty of time to network over a walking dinner.

Antwerp Chem-Tech Connect is part of the ambition of Antwerp Innovation Powerhouse: one connected innovation ecosystem where government, knowledge institutions, entrepreneurs and industry work together. Two of its strategic priorities meet in this event: building the resilient port of the future and the sustainable transformation of the chemical cluster. This evening brings both together in one room.
Meet the two ecosystems
ChemTech is the world of chemical innovation. Around BlueChem, Antwerp’s hub for innovation in sustainable chemistry, companies and startups work on themes such as electrified molecules, urban mining, biotech in niche applications, process development and carbon-based advanced materials. They bring deep industrial know-how and a strong anchor in the chemical sector.
PortTech is the world of technology for port, maritime, logistics and industry. Around The Beacon, Antwerp’s innovation hub for these sectors, technology companies, startups and scale-ups build solutions in AI, robotics and drones, cybersecurity, sensors and more. Many of these solutions already run in the port today.

- CAR: parking Grote Markt - 10-minute walk

Take note of the fact that The Beacon is located in the LEZ zone and that the rules regarding public parking have been made stricter.
