In today's ever-evolving landscape, attracting young talent is crucial. With Digital Tech Career Day, The Beacon collaborates with SINC to link young talent with ambitious and growing technology companies.

We invite students and recent graduates with a background in a tech, IT or digital study program, and welcome them to our headquarters. Here, they will have the opportunity to connect with members of The Beacon Community who can showcase their company.

Event Highlights:

PROGRAM
14:30 - 15:00: WELCOMING - Get to know The Beacon and our building so you know where to find your meeting point.

15:00 - 18:00: JOB FAIR - Engage with young tech talent at your office or booth during the 'Meet and Greet' sessions. Book meetings through Conversation Starter.

18:00 - 22:00: SINC Soiree - Have a drink, exchange ideas, be inspired and broaden your network!*

21 februari zijn we terug met onze nieuwste editie van de SINC Soiree met als thema:’An Entrepreneurial Blueprint for Freelancing & Networking.’ 🌐 Tijdens deze avond krijg je de kans om naar inspirerende sprekers te luisteren, nieuwe ideeën op te doen en inzichten uit te wisselen met andere jonge ondernemers.

The primary objective of this initiative is to inspire young tech talent and encourage them to embark on a career with our esteemed Community Member companies. Your engagement with these student groups is entirely flexible. Some ideas:

  • A founder sharing insights into the company's inception.
  • A CEO offering an overview of company values and a glimpse into a typical workday.
  • An HR manager emphasizing soft skills crucial for success in a tech career.
  • A CTO delving into the specifics of platforms, software, and coding languages.

Important Information:
Registration is mandatory.
After registration, you will receive a link to Conversation Starter to set up a profile and start booking meetings.
Language selection - (EN/NL) will align with the preferred language of the student group.

HOW TO REACH THE BEACON - Sint-Pietersvliet 7, 2000 Antwerpen?

  • TRAM: take tram 7 to stop Sint-Paulusplaats
  • VELO: Velo station 049, Tolhuis / 050, Klapdorp / 058, Noorderterras
  • BIKE: park your bike in the bikepark below the building
  • CAR: parking in the building on request or parking Rijnkaai - 10-minute walk

Take note of the fact that The Beacon is located in the LEZ zone and that the rules regarding public parking have been made stricter.
